I love coaching because I get a front row seat to someone's transformation. What's more exciting than that?
Whether we're talking about a career change, tackling a new project, personal growth, or something else, my clients and I have fun.
And just because something is fun doesn't mean we aren't getting work done.
This is my philosophy when it comes to coaching. Because life is all about balance.
Excitement, fun, and joy pair really well with exploration, digging deep, and choosing how you're going to move your goals forward.

Taking on a challenge? Trying something new?
Remember that it's okay to be a newbie.

This has been a hard lesson for me to accept - and I'm still working on it. I want to see immediate results and I have super high expectations of myself.
But these expectations are keeping me from realizing my goal and the same may be happening for you.
Having high expectations is a double-edged sword. Don't allow the weight of your expectations to hold you back.
For me, this means finding greater appreciation for what I have to learn and being kind to myself when something that I want doesn't work out within the *totally artificial and probably unrealistic* timeline I set for my perfectionist self.
But I believe it will happen - and that's my motivation.

Unpopular opinion here: I'm not a fan of Apple products.
But, I recently made the switch to my first-ever iPhone because it makes it easier to shoot and post content. It’s a helpful tool, I’ll give it that.
Having the right tools can make huge differences and make it that much easier to find success. It’s just as much about identifying the right combination of tools to use as having the tools themselves.
Throughout our lives, we acquire and accrue skills, or tools, that help us learn, adapt, grow, and thrive. I encourage you to take inventory of your toolbox to figure out what tools you have, what tools you want, and what you need to do to acquire them.

What's your vibe for 2022?
I'm focused on authenticity.
My intentions for 2022 include:
🌟 Building genuine relationships
🌟 Spending more time doing things that bring me joy
🌟 Expressing myself in a way that feels supportive of my purpose
Whether or not you use the start of a new year to set intentions for yourself, I invite you to embrace creativity, truthfulness, and a belief in yourself and your abilities as we enter a new year.

It’s an unfortunate reality that our brains find it challenging to focus on positivity. We often find ourselves dwelling on what’s going wrong or what we should have done, rather than on what we’ve accomplished, big or small.
Like many kids, I kept a diary and mostly used it to complain about the stuff that bothered me. Anyone else? 🙋♀️
While writing about our frustrations might help us feel better in the moment, journaling is a more helpful and effective wellness technique when we use it to celebrate what we’ve done, what we want, and how we want to grow.
When mixed with practicing positivity, journaling can be a great start to train your mind to view the upside.
Some of my favorite journal topics that remind me of the positivity in my life are:

🔹️ What’s bringing me joy
🔹️ My accomplishments for the day (again, big or small!)
Tough days won’t grab hold so easily when we redirect and focus our energy towards positivity.

Even when things are going well, there’s still room to grow.
According to a recent study, Fortune 500 companies reported that coaching resulted in a 6️⃣1️⃣% improvement in job satisfaction scores.
In short, just because you’re happy with your job doesn’t mean that coaching can’t help you.
What’s the connection?
Because coaching helps you expand and maximize your ENTIRE potential, you’re more likely to see an enhanced quality of life across the board - even in places where you may already be thriving.

As your coach, my goal is to help you achieve precisely what you want.
Your goals should reflect everything you want. Don’t be afraid to go big with them, even if it scares you (📣 spoiler alert: it’s okay if it does), or they seem outside of the realm of being realistic (whatever that means).

Ever felt so overwhelmed with work that you simply stopped? 🤯
One of my clients was preparing for upcoming projects and didn’t know where to start. With so many topics to research and review, lists to make, and thoughts to organize, his work felt so daunting that he would simply close his laptop and walk away.
The solution was two-fold:
1️⃣ Harness the “close the laptop” feeling
This visual and physical cue gives him a warning that he’s about to head down an unproductive path, which prevents him from submitting to the urge to give up.
2️⃣ Break down the work
Instead of treating his work as insurmountable, he broke it into smaller parts which gave him the confidence and drive to complete one smaller task at a time.
