Imagination Station FCC Greetings Everyone!!! I am Ms. Rikki. I am so delighted to get to know all of you. I appreciate your interest in Imagination Station for Young Learners.

Our mission is to provide high quality care and education that embraces a child-centered approach focused on fostering children’s creativity in an inclusive developmentally appropriate and resource rich play-based environment. A little about me: I am from Brooklyn, NY and Monroe, LA. I am a wife and mother of two and love caring for littles of all ages! I’ve been in childcare for over 10 years now

with experience as a substitute teacher for pre-k - 12th and child youth professional for 8 weeks - 12th grade. I have an associate degree in computer business information systems and am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in child development. I am a certified child care provider, with first aid and CPR approval. In my personal time, I love to laugh and dance. My passions are being a good mom and continuously striving to be the best me I can be. I give 110% to anything I put my mind to. I am so happy to be of service to my community here with all of you. Thanks so much for reading about me!

A little peek into our day at Imagination Station! ☀️📚☁️

With the new school year underway, our daily routine has been updated to accommodate our preschool and elementary school pickups while still giving our little learners plenty of time for learning, play, meals, rest, movement, and FUN! 🤎

I love having a predictable routine for the children while still leaving room for those spontaneous little moments that make each day different. 🥰

🎲🔤 Alphabet Roulette! 🔤🎲

They think they’re just playing a game… but there’s SO much learning happening at the table! 🥰

For today’s Alphabet Roulette activity, the children rolled the dice, counted the dots to determine their number, matched it to the correct column, chose and identified a letter, and then either colored or traced it. ✏️🖍️

One simple game gave us practice with counting, number recognition, letter recognition, visual matching, fine motor and pre-writing skills, following multi-step directions, decision-making, and taking turns. 🧠✨

This is exactly why I love learning through play. When children are engaged and having fun, they don’t even realize how hard those little brains are working! 🤎☁️

Imagination Station Family Child Care has 2 full-time openings available beginning August 5, 2026!

🌟 Preschool Enrichment Program
Children must be enrolled in a preschool program, with Colin Powell Preschool (Morning Session) preferred.

🚶‍♀️ Complimentary Preschool Pick-Up
Children attending the 7:45 AM–10:45 AM morning session at Colin Powell Preschool are picked up directly from school and transported safely to my FCC home for the remainder of the day.

✅ Full-time care
✅ Preschool enrichment
✅ Safe, nurturing home environment
✅ USDA meals & snacks provided
✅ Military fee assistance accepted

📍 Register through Parent Central Services (Building 21).
