A Thank You to One of Our Own.

As coach Kev moves on from Fort Huachuca, we want to take a moment to say thank you for everything he has poured into our Jiu-Jitsu community.

Coaching is so much more than showing up to teach techniques. It’s the time spent on the mats, the rounds, the conversations, the encouragement, the corrections, the patience, and all the little moments that help people become better- both in Jiu-Jitsu and outside of it.

Thank you Coach Kev for sharing your knowledge, your time, and your passion with this community. The impact you’ve made here will continue through the people you’ve taught and the teammates you’ve helped along the way.

You will absolutely be missed around the mats. We’re grateful for the time we got to have you with us and wish you nothing but the best in whatever comes next.

A quick heads-up, everyone! This week we have a Blood Drive at Eifler Gym Tuesday & Thursday, and unfortunately, Commander’s Volleyball at Barnes Field House both days as well.

So, no mats for us during the week — but don’t worry, we’ll be back at it this weekend! 🥋🔥

We have a massive opportunity coming to the Fort Huachuca BJJ mats! On Saturday, August 1st, we are incredibly honored to host a workshop seminar with Black Belt Michael Darcy!

Michael is a US Army Veteran who currently teaches out of One Ten BJJ in Scottsdale. He is generously giving his time and sharing his elite knowledge with us so let’s show out, pack the mats, and give him a massive Fort Huachuca welcome!

This achievement is a direct result of the relentless work, consistency, and grit he puts out on the mats every single day. Sully isn't just leveling up his own game; he is setting a massive example for everyone around him.
By signing up for upcoming competitions and being willing to travel wherever it takes to test his skills, he’s showing exactly what it means to step out of your comfort zone and chase growth.
