What an amazing evening at our Military Appreciation and Summer Success Night on April 30th! 🇺🇸☀️🥞 We are incredibly thankful for everyone who came out to support our students, families, and campus community.

🫶A huge thank you to our wonderful Adopt-A-Unit for serving up the donated delicious pancakes, fresh fruit, and drinks. Helping create such a welcoming atmosphere for all who attended. ⚔️

🇺🇸We also want to recognize our amazing community partners, including the KISD Safety Team, Fort Hood MPs, Audie Murphy Middle School Parent Liaison with volunteers, Mayor Adams, 1st Sgt Escobedo, and many others who took the time to connect with our families and show their support for Venable Village Elementary. Your presence made this event truly special! 🇺🇸

Events like these remind us how strong our village is when schools, families, military partners, and the community come together. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night a success! ❤️🤍💙

What an incredible Teacher Appreciation Week at Venable Village Elementary School! 💜✨

From May 4-8, our amazing staff was celebrated all week long with coffee and breakfast treats, sweet ice cream surprises, thoughtful lunch box gifts from Student Council, refreshing Sonic drinks, and a delicious BBQ lunch fresh off the grill! Just to name a few things. 🍔☕🍦🥤

While we loved showering our teachers and staff with extra appreciation this week, the truth is they deserve to be celebrated EVERY SINGLE DAY. The dedication, love, patience, and hard work they pour into our students does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to every teacher and staff member for all that you do to make Venable Village such a special place for our students to learn, grow, and thrive. We truly couldn’t do it without you! ❤️📚

What an incredible day at Venable Village Elementary School! 💜💙 💜💙🎓

Last week, we had the honor of welcoming the Shoemaker High School Seniors to our campus for their Senior Walk, and the excitement could be felt in every hallway! From the moment the SHS Drumline and Cheerleaders led the procession through our school, the energy was absolutely unmatched! 🥁📣

Our students lined the halls cheering on the seniors as they walked proudly through the campus, showing our younger Vikings what hard work, perseverance, and success look like. Seeing these future graduates return to inspire the next generation was such a powerful and meaningful moment for everyone involved.

Thank you to the Shoemaker High School Class of 2026 for bringing your enthusiasm, school spirit, and positive example to Venable Village! We are so proud of each of you and cannot wait to see all the amazing things your future holds. 💫

☀️ FREE Summer Meals Are Here! 🍎🥪🍉

We are excited to share that FREE summer meals for all kids & teens 18 years old and younger will be available from June 1, 2026 through July 24, 2026! No registration, no cost — just good food and smiling faces! 💙

📍 Multiple feeding sites are available throughout the community including Boys & Girls Club locations, YMCA sites, and additional community locations.

⏰ Breakfast and lunch will be served Monday–Friday at designated times and locations listed below in the flyers.

⚠️ Please note there will be NO meal service on:
• June 18, 2026
• June 29 – July 3, 2026
