A record 419 Michigan schools are now recognized as Green Schools, including St. Clair County’s FIRST Green school - Fort Gratiot Middle School !

FGMS is empowering 6-8th graders to take action to protect the air, land and water in their community. From recycling and wildlife habitat to Great Lakes education, students are turning everyday learning into real-world impact.

Mrs. Vani's 6th grade geography classes participated in cleaning up along the ditches to help protect our local watershed for Earth Day! They have been learning about the Great Lakes Watershed and pollution and this activity was a great way to help keep our waters clean and celebrate Earth Day!
