For we are looking at some of our Bibles and things found in our Bibles during our restoration of the books for our Bible restoration project.

This is one of the Bibles that has been restored through the Bible Restoration Project by the AMAZING Artur Bookbinding International. This is a German Bible from the 1840s that was brought to America by Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Hilbrand. Inside the book, there are handwritten notes in the margins alongside the text. This book was restored in a historic manner, with the original book being respected. The book can now be easily handled (with proper protection) for research purposes.

We are pleased to share a remarkable project that exemplifies profound dedication and respect. A client named Jesse has devoted over four decades of his life assisting the families of his fellow soldiers faced with the daunting task of locating their loved ones name on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This comprehensive directory meticulously lists the names inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall in alphabetical order, providing precise location details (panel number and letter) of specific names on the physical memorial. It was published decades ago, and has been his constant companion. It has been used extensively, has begun to deteriorate, and has several loose pages that Jesse himself added, consisting of more recently added names , so that each and every one of his comrades is present and accounted for.

In a deeply personal tribute to his best friend, with whom he served, the client sought to create something truly special. Our team meticulously rebound the volume by hand, sewing all the pages together, encasing it in a luxurious green leather cover adorned with silver stamping. Furthermore, we integrated a digitally enhanced photograph of his best friend onto the inside cover, complete with his panel information.

This individual's commitment extends beyond the directory itself. Whenever a new panel was added to the memorial, and a name was within a four-state radius of his location, he would personally visit the family to assist them in locating their loved one's name on the wall and meticulously document the details. We commend his unwavering dedication to honoring his fellow comrades and his service to our esteemed nation.
