This program filled up fast and is now filled. If enough interest, we possibly may be able to schedule Bernadette for another evening.

Tonight @ 6:00 pm, @ the Fort Edward Free Library, Wildlife Educator Bernadette Hoffman will be bringing Max, a Canadian Lynx, along with a South American Chinchilla and a Yellow-naped Amazon parrot. She will also bring some wild animal specimens such as furs, antlers and feathers.
Bernadette believes that educating children from a young age is essential. She emphasizes that teaching them to understand the importance of protecting endangered animals and insuring their survival is imperative.
She states this: " As habitats rapidly disappear due to agricultural and urban expansion, wild animals are being pushed closer to the brink. When the wild is gone, there are two options: captivity or extinction. Let’s save the wild!"
This program is free, open to those of all abilities, and is interactive. Seating is on a first come basis unless registered. To register, please call 518-747-6743. If we are unable to get to the phone, please leave your name, phone number and how many will be attending. Thank You.
