Uintah River High School Uintah River High School is a 9-12 grade charter school, located on the Ute Indian Tribe Reservation in Fort Duchesne, Utah.

Welcome back, Warriors!

We hope you're enjoying your summer! As we get ready for another great school year at Uintah River High School, here are a few important dates to remember:

Wednesday, August 12
• New Student Orientation – 10:30 a.m.
• Bowling Event for All URHS Students – 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

New students are encouraged to attend orientation to meet our staff, tour the school, and learn about what to expect this year. Following orientation, all current and incoming URHS students are invited to join us for bowling and a chance to reconnect before school begins.

Thursday, August 13 – First Day of School
• Doors Open: 8:00 a.m.
• First Bell: 8:55 a.m.

Juniors this past year experienced something special: they got to see remnants of wells, sinks, and all sorts of leftovers on the very spot of the Topaz Japanese Internment Center. This was a great trip! April 2026.

Our largest graduating class to date! 🎉🎉 9 have committed to a college, with 3 on scholarship, with 2 already prepared to enter employment right away.
