Reminder: Back-to-School Bash at Vernal Cinemas Today! 🎉

Join us to meet the fantastic UTTM Staff and receive a free backpack 🎒 filled with school supplies! Kids can also enjoy free popcorn 🍿 and a drink 🥤 while watching the movie. Doors open at 11 AM.

Join us for a Back-to-School Bash at Vernal Cinemas on August 4, 2026!

Meet the amazing UTTM Staff, snag a free backpack filled with school supplies, and let the kids enjoy free popcorn and a drink for the movie.

This family -friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the new school year-don't miss it!

Reminder: Athenian Academy Meal Box Program
The Athenian Academy Meal Box Program will take place this Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Ute Tribe Education Building.
We will provide free meal boxes for all children ages 18 and under. A total of 200 boxes will be available, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pickup Details:
Start Time: 11:30 AM (Families are welcome to line up earlier.)
Entry Point: Please enter at the Social Services/Ute Enterprise sign and follow the signs to the pickup area.
To register each child for their meal box, we will use a QR code. Parents, guardians, and family members may pick up boxes on behalf of the children; children do not need to be present at pickup.
We kindly request that boxes be brought back so they can be reused for future distributions.
Thank you for helping spread the word so that as many children as possible can receive meals!

Jim LaMuth from Utah State University, Uintah Basin Campus, will be at the UIT Education Department building today until 4:30 PM. He is available to assist with any questions regarding Fall 2026 course registration and admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The UIT Education Department is making significant progress in supporting our students, families, and schools. We kindly request that all BC appointees attend the meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
