👨🏻‍🏭 🔥 It was an exciting time this morning to start the day in welding class. Recently, we applied for a grant with Hypertherm for their ‘Spark Something Creative’ campaign. We found out we are 1 of 12 schools across the United States that were selected to receive a new Hypertherm plasma cutter. This machine will help the students improve their cutting and gouging skills. We are so grateful for this award. A huge shoutout to Hypertherm! We appreciate it!! 👩‍🏭 🔥

4️⃣5️⃣ students from Fort Dodge Senior High attended the annual ‘Build My Future’ career day at the state fairgrounds in Des Moines.

Students had the opportunity to:
🔨 Walk the event to explore potential career paths 🚒 Talk with industry professionals

🔥 👨‍🚒 Recently, Fort Dodge Fire Capt. Steve Teske, along with Luke Kloetzer, and Sam Myer, visited our home maintenance and repair classes. They talked to students about safeguarding their homes from fires/carbon monoxide leaks and talked about careers as firefighters. It was great to have them in the building. Thanks for coming!👨‍🚒🔥
