🍎 FDCSD would like to introduce one of our new staff members for the 2026-2027 school year!
Please help us welcome Rachell Fairman, who will be joining Duncombe Elementary as a 1st Grade Teacher! 📚✏️
We asked Rachell a couple of questions so everyone can get to know her a little better:
❓ What inspired you to become a teacher?
A mix of people but mostly my mom and Laura Ingalls Wilder. My mom worked with special education students and I loved seeing what a difference she made in their lives. I also grew up loving the Little House on the Prairie books. I have read them over and over.
❓ What is one fun fact or hobby you'd like to share?
A fun fact... I went to kindergarten in Germany.
We are excited to have Rachell join the Dodger family and look forward to the positive impact she will make on our students and school community. ❤️🖤

Update on Lemonade Sales in the Duncombe Commemorative Cups: It appears we have our necessary 20 sales plus a little more!!!
Lemonade Sale with Duncombe Cups:
Date: June 18th
Time: 7:30 - 12:00
Location: Right out in front of Duncombe Elementary.
My cup manufacturer is working hard to meet the demand and I will start making lemonade.
I will be reaching out to student leaders to help sell, they are a much better draw than Mr. Flaherty even if he dresses comfy!!
