So proud of our dental hygiene students for representing us at Lobby Day at the state capitol in Des Moines! 🦷✨
Students had the opportunity to advocate for important dental hygiene topics while meeting with lobbyists, legislators, and senators — including a great conversation with Tim Kraayenbrink to ask questions and share their perspectives firsthand.

Thank you! I have been blessed to be a part of the dental hygiene and dental assisting programs for around 20 years …gosh I am old…but so are some of my “guinea pig” students who graduated in 2008! Lol
Very proud of all of the students I have had the privilege of knowing, sometimes you taught me something. Win win!

Today is my last day as DH and DA Director! I have meet the best people in my journey. The IC DA program will continue to grow and provide the skillfully trained professionals dental offices need today and the DH program will, as always, rock out the best dental hygienists!!!!!
Special thanks to all the advisors, maintenance and IT, (and all the great staff), DH faculty, dentists, clinical instructors and those who partnered with our program; their education was elevated by you.
Bittersweet for sure but on to another adventure in retirement!
