We have decided to move on and close Steburgers…. depending on staff coverage, our last day will be Tuesday June 30.
The biggest reason is so we can spend time with our family.

Running a small business is both satisfying and extremely stressful, at least it was for me because…
What you see- packed dining room and a line outside
What you don’t see- the Cost including loans, insurance, inspections, regulations, taxes, payroll, credit card fees, utilities, cost of inventory, equipment failures, drama/conflict between
employees and staff turnover. Not to mention the countless hours and missed events.

What you see-we messed up an order
What you don’t see-the kid in the back realizing they messed up an order and in tears, and us upset that we messed up in the first place and worrying about the social media consequences.

We try our best everyday, we care about our customers. We have great food and try to provide great service. We are not fast food so it does take extra time to compete orders.

In most cases, small businesses aren’t getting rich, give them an opportunity to make things right before typing on the keyboard or yelling. It is true that it takes 7 positive comments to counteract just 1 negative comment in every aspect of your life. Go out your way to be positive …it’s way easier to be nice rather than mean/rude.

Overall, this experience was worth it 😁 Thank you to the community and our staff for being there with us since Aaron and I took over in 2021.
Lastly, to whoever is going to take over, I wish them the best and pray that the community will support them and make it an excellent experience for them as well.
