Hey families - watch the mail for the letter from CCS with Report Cards, FAST summary, XTRA Math & EPIC info & a note fir students that they wrote to themselves back in August.

Proud of the 5th Grade for winning Jeopardy this morning! The played strong against some good competition & was bold & decisive in the end!
One more student conquered the final level in Xtra Math today - only 3 kids this year have that title! Another student made it through all 4 operations of Level 1 today! Persevering in spite of frustration!
Tomorrow is Awards in the morning, mini cupcake baking right after lunch & the talent show at 1:00

Wow! We had such a good time sorting out the reading slips! Congrats to our top 5 Readers of the year! Isaiah, Wyatt, Wesley, Andrew & Raelynne!

Read & Feed is today - students may bring a personal drink (no soda or energy drinks) with a lid & a snack to share - glad we got our outdoor project done yesterday! Jill from Lotus came yesterday & accepted our donation - thank you again for supporting the Plant Sale - today will be our last trip to the Crusader Store & we are cleaning out our lockers

Final week post: such busy days coming up!
Monday - final Math tests, yearbooks ( $10 each)
Tuesday - final Read & Feed (each student can bring a personal drink & a snack to share)
Wednesday - K grad, Chapel, 8th Grad, 5/6 Awards
Thursday - K-8 Awards, mini cupcake baking, Talent Show
Friday - track & field stations, cupcake walk, foam - early out at 1pm
As the weather allows we have a little more painting to do & we are going to scrub out our bins & a few more items that need cleaned :)

Hospice Service Project - such good work & great attitudes - 2 visitors had their day brightened up and thanked us for the sweet encouragement!

1) Notes were sent home today for Epic for the summer - the online library that 5/6 uses - it's a great resource (public library style)
2) Tomorrow morning (Thursday) we are walking over to Hospice House to do a service project - Notes of encouragement
