Join us on Thursday, May 14th for our 2026 PSM Capstone Symposium! 🎉 Support our 2nd-year students as they present their final projects. The event will take place at the CSU Lory Center in Room 386 from 8:30am-5:00pm. Cheer on their hard work in-person, or virtually through live stream.

Our of the week is Hayley Prescott. Hayley will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Colorado State University in 2026. She is a part of our Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP). She will be doing her capstone project at CSU where she will create a “Little Shop of Biology”.
Hayley hopes to become an educator in zoos, aquariums, and museums.

For today's , we want to highlight Miranda Mendez. Miranda graduated from Tarleton State University with a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Sustainability and Ecosystem Science with concentation in Zoo Animal and Wildlife Biology and Management. She will be doing her summer capstone project with the Denver Downtown Aquarium. Her project will include facilitating multiday enrichment events for their serval and North American river otters.
Miranda hopes to one day be a lead in the hoofstock department and educate the public on the importance of zoos and conservation.

This week's is dedicated to Lacey Robinson. Lacey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She will be doing her capstone project at Animal Friends Alliance (AFA) where she will study dog adoption outcomes and see how the behavioral resources available at AFA help animals stay in their homes.
Lacey hopes to continue learning about behavior so she can make a meaningful difference within the community.
