Walker Monfort (B.A. ’10), a third-generation Ram and president of the Colorado Rockies, welcomed us to Coors Field to reflect on his family's CSU legacy, his journey through the Rockies organization, and the impact of the Colorado Rockies Sports Management Institute at CSU—a partnership creating hands-on learning experiences and career pathways for CSU students.
Walker shares why investing in students and developing future leaders remains one of his proudest accomplishments and a longstanding commitment of the Rockies organization.

Fun fact: CSU alumni make up nearly 8% of the Rockies' full-time workforce. That's why we were excited to have Rams from across the organization join Walker and Dinger on the field for a celebratory "Go Rams!" at the end of the video. 💚💛
And the CSU-Rockies partnership continues on Aug. 1 at Rams at the Rockies! Join us at Coors Field as the Rockies take on the Royals and stay after the game for a special Colorado 150th Anniversary drone show. More details: https://col.st/o5l54

What an amazing evening in Yuma full of Ram pride, meaningful connections, and giving back.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Northeast CSU Alumni Annual Banquet. Together, alumni, friends, and fellow Rams gathered to help raise funds for local students pursuing their dreams at Colorado State University.
The scholarship dinner and auction showcased the incredible generosity of the Northeastern Colorado Ram community. Every dollar raised helps create opportunities for students from Yuma County and surrounding communities, ensuring future generations can experience the same CSU journey that has connected so many before them.
Thank you for helping strengthen the Ramily and for investing in the leaders, innovators, and changemakers of tomorrow!

Because of the generosity of Morgan County Rams, more students will have the opportunity to call Colorado State University home. 💚🐏
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Morgan County Scholarship Golf Tournament, Lunch & Auction. Alumni and Ram friends came together for a day of connection, community, and giving back, all in support of future Rams from Morgan County.
Funds raised will support the Morgan County Alumni Scholarship, which provides three scholarships each year to incoming CSU students from Morgan County high schools. These scholarships help open doors for students as they begin their journey at Colorado State and carry on the proud tradition of Morgan County Rams.
We’re grateful for this community and the many alumni, friends, and supporters who continue to invest in future Rams.

Colorado State University alum Savanah Overturf ('22) spent much of her early childhood unable to speak. Today, she's a TEDx speaker, Special Olympics Colorado leader, published poet, disability advocate, and a powerful voice for inclusion. Through public speaking, storytelling, and her work with The Inclusion Project, Savy is helping others feel seen, heard, and empowered to pursue what once felt impossible.
"As someone who once struggled to speak, public speaking became how I learned to explain my experiences to other people."
