Students in the CTC Behavioral Health Pathway had the honor of interviewing Dr. Craig Woodall about post-traumatic growth and his journey mourning the loss of his brother following 9/11.

Through his powerful story, students gained deep, real-world insights into the grieving process, resilience, and supporting others through profound loss.

Thank you, Dr. Woodall, for selflessly sharing your wisdom and vulnerability with our future healthcare leaders. We can't wait to read your new book, Overcome: Rebuilding Hope After Losing My Brother on 9/11!

Coffee, community, and active listening in action. ☕ Intentional conversations made for an inspiring afternoon at the Alley Cat Cafe.

Last Friday, students in our Behavioral Health Pathway spent time at the Alley Cat Cafe working on their Inside/Out Projects. To prepare for future careers in mental health and community support, students put essential skills into practice right in the heart of campus:

-Active Listening: Focusing fully on understanding others without interruption.
-Building Rapport: Creating genuine connections and comfortable spaces for dialogue.
-Real-World Application: Moving learning outside the traditional classroom and into community spaces.

A huge thank you to the Alley Cat Cafe for hosting our students as they take these important steps toward becoming compassionate behavioral health professionals.

We officially made it through the first full week at the Career Tech Center! 🛠️✨

Students are settling into their programs, getting familiar with their labs, and gearing up for an incredible year packed with real-world, hands-on projects. From the shops to the tech labs, the energy on campus has been electric.

Our CTC staff and instructors could not be more thrilled to welcome this amazing group. We are so excited to see what you build, create, and accomplish this year—let’s get to work! 💪

Join us for the Career Tech Center (CTC) Back to School Night! Whether your student is gearing up to code, build, heal, or fly, this is your chance to meet their instructor, explore their classroom, and learn what their pathway has in store for the year.

Location: Career Tech Center (201 S. Impala Way, Fort Collins, CO)

Getting Here & Entrance
The CTC is located in the northeast basement corner of Poudre High School. Please use the dedicated CTC entrance on the northeast side of the building, not the main Poudre High School entrance. Look for the signs guiding you to our door! Parking is available by the PSD District Office (Laporte Ave & Impala Dr)
