Lambkins 2026 graduate, Dylan Rubenstein has been nominated for Blue Federal Credit Union Spring Sports top boys athlete.

Coloradoan “What a senior season on the diamond for Rubenstein, a three-year standout who took it to another level in his fourth. He was the Northern Conference Player of the Year and a two-way star. Rubenstein went 5-0 with a 1.00 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 35 innings pitching. He was also hitting a team-best.405 with six homers, 10 doubles, and 31 RBIs"

Today is day two of celebrating our 2026 Northern Conference All-Conference players.

Today we have our second team All-Conference players that include Evan Gaschler, Sammy Stanford, and Nixon Sikes.

Congratulations to our second team All-Conference players for 2026. Your contributions to the team and the program are important, and you've earned this award.

Congratulations guys. You earned it!

Four years ago, Coach Lain Tagg Lain walked into this program with a track record that spoke for itself with 990 wins and 14 state championships at the American Legion level.

What he's built here since then has been something the Lambkins community has gotten to watch up close.

This season, we went 17-8, won the conference at 10-2, claimed the city title at 5-1, swept Rocky Mountain, and made the playoffs for the fourth straight year.

The Northern League recognized what this community already knew in naming Coach Lain the 2026 Coach of the Year.

Numbers tell part of the story. The culture he's built around this program tells the rest.

Thank you, Coach Lain, for what you've to given us and this community.
