The biomedical sciences undergrad student has been selected for a prestigious fellowship program that will support her growth as a researcher and future leader in science. This summer, she'll spend nine weeks immersed in research at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

📣 A new treatment for pediatric osteosarcoma is clearing important hurdles!

Our researchers are leading the development of a potential new therapy for this aggressive bone cancer, studying a combination of losartan (an FDA-approved blood pressure drug) and sunitinib (an oral chemotherapy drug) in collaboration with the University of Colorado Anschutz and Children’s Hospital Colorado.
