Language learning becomes even more meaningful when it’s rooted in culture, connection, and community. 🌎

The Todos Santos Spanish Immersion Program is an opportunity for CSU staff, faculty, and community members to strengthen their language skills while engaging directly with the local community in Baja California Sur, MĂŠxico.

From cultural activities and conversations with local residents to hands-on learning experiences, the program creates a deeper understanding of language beyond the classroom.
Don’t miss out - applications for fall 2026 are now open - https://source.colostate.edu/todos-santos-spanish-immersion/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=th042926

What began as a community investment in 2019 continues to create lasting impact today.

The Community English Program in Todos Santos was launched by CSU Todos Santos in response to a regional needs assessment, creating greater access to English education and opportunity within the community.
Seven years later, Senior Languages Coordinator Olaf Morales Barrales reconnected with members of the inaugural class to reflect on the program’s long-term influence. The latest impact report highlights students Alexis, Aimar, and Wilber, whose stories show how community-based education can shape academic journeys, career goals, and everyday life while supporting the continued growth of the Todos Santos community. 🌎

Rams know there’s power in numbers. On May 7, the Day of Giving, we’re coming together to help CSU students rise.

Support the Office of International Programs by giving to what matters most:

> Passport Fund: $165 can cover the cost of a U.S. passport, removing a key barrier and opening the door to global opportunities.

> Education Abroad Scholarship: 1,600+ students travel to 80+ countries each year. These high-impact experiences boost retention, academic success, and career readiness. Gifts to the Education Abroad Scholarship will be matched, up to $750!

> International Student Emergency Assistance Fund: Provides immediate support for international students facing unexpected financial hardships, helping them stay on track.

Every gift expands access, opportunity, and impact.

Together, we rise.

1 in 4 students from last year’s graduating class at CSU were able to receive an international education. 🤸 💥 🌍 Here at CSU’s Office of International Programs, we’re grateful to celebrate international education every day – thanks to the collaboration of so many students, staff and faculty.

But the work doesn’t stop there. If you’re a campus or local community member who wants to join the party and increase access to global learning for CSU students, you can help by getting involved with our passport scholarship! Visit the link in our bio to sponsor a student’s first passport.
