ALL Details:
All chapters, teams, and members must adhere to state laws, the Joint Policy on Risk Management, Student Code of Conduct, and their (inter)national risk management policy. All Programming Board F/S Fest events are substance free. This includes bringing alcohol or other drugs, consuming alcohol or other illicit drugs, or attending an event under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. This applies to all F/S Fest events and activities including practices, rehearsals, preparations, and any other related activities. Vandalism and theft are prohibited. This includes but is not limited to vandalism or theft of banners, performance props, and anything else related to events and competitions. Judges’ decisions are final, and the Programming Board may deduct points for rule violations outlined in the F/S Fest packet. Teams should follow guidelines, use rubrics, and submit materials on time. F/S Fest promotes a positive, inclusive, and collaborative community—failure to uphold this may result in point deductions, disqualification, or forfeiture. Participation is voluntary; forcing involvement may be considered hazing and referred for review. Violations will be evaluated by the Programming Board, with outcomes ranging from warnings to disqualification or referral to accountability bodies.
