Enjoying a tree pose in front of Jodie's tree. The tree is located next to where we would line up when coming in from morning recess, we hope you get a chance to visit it.
For 20 years, Oakwood School boosted the education of many Fort Collins children. Although the school has closed, this page allows alumni to reconnect.

After successfully educating children in Ft. Collins for twenty years, Oakwood Elementary School has closed.
For two decades, Oakwood School has been known for promoting curiosity and encouraging students to maintain the desire for lifelong learning in a caring community of small class sizes and individualized instruction.
Respect, friendship, trust, self-discipline, compassion and integrity were always incorporated into the Oakwood experience.
Since the first day of school in 1993, Oakwood School has created a strong community of involved families, committed faculty and amazing students who continue to excel in school and in life.
The faculty thanks the students, alumni and their families for their participation and contributions to the Oakwood community.
There are no immediate plans for the property located at Mountain Avenue and McKinley, just north of City Park.
We are sorry to announce that Oakwood was not able to reopen this year. A more detailed post is coming.
