The temperatures are dropping and the leaves are falling, it's really feeling like autumn now! The falling leaves in autumn provide so many nature-based learning opportunities! This week we've explored the concept of sorting by size, shape, and color using leaves we've collected from local trees. We also read the book "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert which inspired students to create their own leaf character and story using leaves!

At Little Pines we've been celebrating the changing of the seasons and welcoming fall through stories and the exploration of leaves, seeds and windy weather!
