Senior Phi Kap Shoutout- Brendan Kelley
Major: Supply Chain Management, College of Business
Minor: Spanish

I came to College not thinking I would join a Fraternity and just focus on school and work. However, I soon came to realize I was lacking the brotherhood that Phi Kappa Theta has to offer. I can count on all of the men to push me to be better, hold me accountable, and of course be by my side during the wild ride of college and later on in life. These are not friendships that will last 4 years, but for lifetime. I look forward to many incredible adventures to come with all of you.

Brothers, use college as an opportunity to grow in all the pillars. Don’t take everything too seriously, but also push yourself to be better everyday. You will start to realize who your real friends are and those around you that truly care. Take advantage of having all your brothers to help you be the man that God created you to be. Take it one day at time and be thankful for the blessing of being part of this organization.

Favorite memory: Winning the kickball IM Championship right before COVID hit. Also when Connor Genovese did his “get low” dance at Copper Formal.

Plans: I plan to secure a full time job for this upcoming summer with Ball Corporation or Lockheed Martin. In the meantime during the spring, I plan on finishing my pilot license certification, working part time, and traveling as much as COVID allows me to. And of course, I will be in Fort Collins hanging out with the boys!

Good Luck! Much love hermano!

Last Phi Kap Senior Shoutout- Calvin Johnson
-College of Liberal Arts
-Graphic Design Major, with Business Minor

This fraternity gave me the opportunity to not only greatly develop myself but fulfill my duty to serve others. My favorite memories are all the boys nights, being able to design all of our t-shirts and materials. Living at the cabin has been an honor and a privilege.

Good Luck!!!!

Senior Phi Kap Shoutout- Scott Powers
Walter Scott Jr. College of Engineering
Major: Chemical and Biological Engineering
Minor: Chemistry

For me, Phi Kappa Theta was a channel for developing a lost high school boy into a man, ready to enter the world. Through brotherhood, I found accountability and friendship unlike any other. This organization challenged me in ways I would have never thought possible, and it was through this that I grew the most in college. It was the perfect compliment to my academic career here at Colorado State, and I hope to build this brotherhood for the rest of my life.

My favorite memory in the Fraternity was the time we played “assassin” as a group. It was a great opportunity to have some fun and liven up the daily interactions within the Fraternity. I’m sad to have finished second, but it was still a blast!

Best luck to you!!
