The TAO seeks to promote a healthy exchange of dialogue to foster understanding and peace.
The Tunisian American Organization is a nonpartisan group of individuals interested in increasing commercial as well as social exchanges between the United States of America and Tunisia to promote peace, prosperity, and good relations. Building on the democratic ideals of the Tunisian Revolution of 2011, the Tunisian American Organization seeks to nurture a newly evolved relationship between the
United States and Tunisia with an approach that rejects corruption and nepotism; our approach calls for grassroots involvement and organizational transparency for the welfare of Tunisians, Americans, and Tunisian-Americans alike. In doing so, the TAO aims to address the following:
1) Professional Networking - To connect young and experienced professionals in all fields, effectively facilitating employment and inspiring entrepreneurship and innovation.
2) Academic Success - To provide the tools and information necessary for all students interested in excellence to achieve their goals. Sharing scholarship opportunities, scholarly support, and academic exchange programs.
3) Social and Personal Development - Though primarily seeking to achieve measurable economic and academic growth through the exchanges between Tunisia and the U.S., a part of any exchange between two unique nations is a cultural one, an exchange of ideas.
