The Psoas - (part 1 of 2)
If you've been struggling with fear, anxiety, knee, hip, or lower back pain (which let's face it most of us do). There is a good chance that your psoas is unhealthy. The psoas is the largest and strongest hip flexor muscle, and is responsible for contracting and pulling the thigh and torso together.
This is one of the most common problem areas in yoga students. Whether the psoas is too tight or weak and over stretched, it can have major ramifications on the body, mind and spirit.
