OK Ethics Appoints New Chairperson
Oklahoma City, Okla. (May 13, 2019) – The OK Ethics board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nathan Mellor to the voluntary position of chairperson of their nonprofit professional organization. Dedicated to promoting integrity at work and in our communities, the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium (OK Ethics) has been hosting regular forums in Oklahoma City and Tulsa for the past 16 years. It is supported by nearly 150 companies with over 500 individual members, including professionals and leaders in the business, academia and nonprofit sectors.
Considered one of America’s expert communicators, Dr. Mellor is the CEO of C3 Brands and president of Strata Leadership. He is a recipient of the OK Ethics Executive Pilot Award and one of OK Ethics’ highest rated speakers, slated to address OK Ethics chapters on September 5 in Tulsa and September 18 in Oklahoma City. Dr. Mellor brings a wealth of important experience to the OK Ethics team. Since co-founding Strata Leadership in late 2009, the company has grown from a single employee in a windowless office to a multi-million-dollar family of companies that includes Mosaic Personnel, Qubit Creative and Strata Leadership. As president of Strata Leadership, Dr. Mellor has helped launch numerous brands, including The Academy of Sports and Character, The Institute for Emerging Leaders, Monocle Press, Strata Leadership Center for Public Safety and the Strata Leadership Executive Forum. Along with Character Core and Character First Education brands, estimated audiences of over 500,000 people use Strata products and services each month.
Dr. Mellor has been a favorite lecturer at the undergraduate and graduate levels for over 20 years. His most popular courses included leadership, communication, ethics and the psychology of conflict. In pursuit of educational, humanitarian and religious interests, he has studied or taught in Australia, Belize, China, England, Guyana, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, Russia and Rwanda. He is passionate about developing future leaders and is the co-founder of the Presidential Leadership Institute, hosted on the campus of York College, in collaboration with the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum.
