All of the men whose names are on this panel died in between Nov 17 and Nov 28 of 1968. The picture does not even cover all at the names. One, a fellow Marine, a personal friend. He was killed not long after John was evacuated back to the States. At the bottom of the panel is a DTI Challenge Coin, dedicated to these men and so many more. The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall was in Colorado this past weekend and we visited once more. It's why there is a DTI.

“Never believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied”

The invariable method used by socialists (Democrats) when confronting bad news is abject denial, then self-justification.

After continuously denying rapidly-escalating inflation, the JRB Administration now assures us that inflation is a good thing, because we Americans need to be punished for our great national sin of individual liberty and freedom.

After continuously denying the escalating crisis of violent crime in virtually every metro area, we’re now told we deserve violent crime, because we haven’t been nice enough to violent criminals.

After being told we don’t “need” guns, Democrats de-fund our police, release violent criminals (immediately), close jails!

In view of the foregoing, some of us might get the crazy idea that Democrats really like ecumenical lawlessness, squalor, filth, stagnation, because they unfailingly, relentlessly work in that direction- currently with great success!

One would think, with a record like that, Democrats would be precipitously voted out of power, but I’m not sure, as a nation, we’re even capable of holding a legitimate election any more!

Our last one didn’t inspire much confidence!

A new Communist Utopia!

JRB recently canceled a strategic counterintelligence program designed specifically to protect the USA from ever-more sophisticated Chinese espionage.

Chinese love him!

Currently in China:

China is rapidly replacing human judges and prosecutors with AI-empowered computers.

China is currently using “AI” to “improve courts, correcting ‘perceived human errors,’” China’s new “smart court” they claim “increases fairness, efficiency, and credibility”

In China’s “smart courts,” the few human judges remaining are now forced to submit a written explanation when they disagree with AI, and their explanation is then submitted, not to other human judges, but to a another machine, or a panel of machines!

In fact, computers now suggest new laws, draft legal documents, charge humans with crimes, render verdicts, and issue punishments for offenses, all with virtually no human oversight.

Human judges are required to “consult” AI computers on every case. Overruling AI’s decisions is almost unheard of, and is done only at great personal risk!

An independent AI “prosecutor” has started charging people in Shanghai for crimes it “perceives,” all with no human oversight. Since AI is considered “perfect” in its judgment, it may never be questioned. In fact, questioning an AI decision has become a crime in itself!

China is already a pernicious “surveillance state,” with massive, and ever-growing, databases on each individual, complete with an active “social-credit system,” where every citizen receives a continually-upgraded “score.”

Better not flunk!

Beijing crows that its new technology is making a significant contribution to the judicial advancement of human civilization.

I’m sure!

Can you imagine what hideous fate awaits millions of innocents across the globe, as China’s amoebic foreign policy relentlessly brings millions of new, hapless victims under its control, maybe even us?

Chinese world domination is scheduled to be complete by 2049, and they’re currently ahead of schedule!

It’s pretty obvious what we can all look forward to!

My opinion:

“Artificial intelligence” is more accurately described as “artificial stupidity!”

Contrary to what we’re being told (by Chinese propagandists, and American politicians who choose to speak for them), computers are not “alive.” They don’t “understand” anything, and never can!

They are absolutely incapable of human judgment, caring, concern, mercy, fear, pain, righteousness. They don’t know the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, life and death. In fact, they don’t “know” anything!

We put them in charge at our peril!

“Tactical Loitering!”

As a young USMC Captain, I attended the Army Advanced Infantry Course at Ft Benning, GA in 1978.

At the “Home of Infantry,” there is a vitally important reason that:

“Follow Me!”

is the historic motto of our Infantry School.

Everyone there, starting with buck privates, knows and understands that they are expected to fearlessly step forward and take charge, without hesitation, when NCOs and officers are incapacitated and unable to carry-out their duties.

That motto reflects a uniquely American attitude, and I was, and still am, proud to be associated with this ancient and honored tradition that traces its origin back to Spartan King Leonidas who so audaciously and magnificently defended Western Civilization in 480 BC at Thermopylae.

Fast-forward 2502 years to Western “Civilization” today!

Before it was all over, four hundred law-enforcement officers were disjointedly assembled at the Uvalde Primary School in TX during the murderous shooting incident of 24 May 22.

Yet for over one agonizing hour, not a single one took the initiative to save innocent children inside!

We saw something very similar at the Columbine school shooting in CO in 1999, the Parkland, FL school shooting of 2018, and others.

My friend and colleague, Ron Borsch, coined the deliberately sarcastic term, “Tactical Loitering” to describe this ecumenical cowardly paralysis that so often seizes those who are supposed to be (and are paid to be) “Men of Action!”

Leftist propaganda promulgators (masquerading as “media”), none of whom have ever been involved in anything more dangerous than grandiloquent debates at university faculty lounges, are now piously criticizing this lack of a timely response at Uvalde.

Yet, these same propagandists are saying of the gun-carrying hero who, on his own initiative, just decisively cut-short a murderous massacre developing at an IN shopping mall:

“Why would anyone carry a gun in public?" and

“How can local police call this person a 'Good Samaritan?'" and

“Don’t they know that only government employees, and our personal bodyguards, should have guns?”

In Uvalde, they criticize police who display no initiative.

Then, with a straight face, they turn around and criticize (with the same arrogant self-righteousness) this amazing hero and his timely response to a lethal threat.

There's no way to have a rational conversation with people like this!

"Who claim to have my best interests at heart, yet simultaneously suggest that I disarm and leave my personal safety in their hands, scare me!

They are not merely hypocritical, but dangerously ignorant and delusional.

They are true believers in false gods."
