Coach for multi-passionates, unwilling to settle for less than the life they want.

I’ve gone back and forth on sharing this part of my work publicly.

Not because it doesn’t matter… but because it does. And as a practical and grounded person, it feels a little bit vulnerable.

When I discovered Human Design it felt a little “out there” to me at first. I didn’t just take it at face value. I needed to experience it for myself. Experiment with it and see if it actually held up in real life.

And it did.

In a way that honestly surprised me.

It felt like being met with a level of clarity and understanding about myself I had been craving. It put language to parts of me I had always felt… but hadn’t fully acknowledged or lacked the language to actually describe.

What’s shifted the most is this:

The more I work with my natural energy instead of against it, the more ease I feel in my life.

More energy.
More clarity.
Less forcing.
More self trust.
More confidence.

And now I get to witness that same experience with my clients.

Watching someone feel truly seen, sometimes for the first time in a long time is powerful.

This is me opening the door to sharing more of this side of my work.

If you already know your human design, I’d love to hear, please drop it below!

And if you’re curious, comment or DM me “design chart” and I’ll send you a free link to pull yours. 💗

A little public display of appreciation for my cute husband. ❤️ His encouragement and support of Hart Wild (and allll my passions and businesses) means everything to me. Not only does he cheer me on and celebrate all of my creative successes, and offer feedback when I ask for it, he’s there when I feel frustrated, or that pesky self doubt creeps in.

He is willing to drop whatever he’s doing to help me document a garment (even though he’s not even on social media himself, and I will have to literally show this to him for him to see it. 😄) And even though he’s not a fan of getting his photo taken, he will gladly model things for me.

Over the weekend, he patiently helped me pin a garment that I was fitting to myself…Without his help, I probably would have had to rip a bunch of seams and if you’ve ever sewn, you know that ripping seams in the bain of every sewist’s existence! 😵‍💫.

He is also INCREDIBLY patient when my sewing projects spread across our entire tiny house taking over the dining room table, the kitchen counter, and sometimes even the coffee table. 🫣

For all the ways, big and small, tangible, and not, I am incredibly grateful to him for every role he plays and he absolutely deserves some credit for a bit of what you see me making or at least for the fact that you even see it at all. 📸

Also, a huge thank you to the amazing photographer and cousin who took *these* photos! It’s so nice to have us both in the photo for a change. I have a bunch more photos Laci took for me that I am excited to share. Stay tuned!

Hey! I’m Caitlin and I’m so glad you’re here. As a multi-passionate entrepreneur, life coach and personal and home stylist (AND creator , private yoga teacher, home stager.) I’ve created an out-of-the-box life and career uniquely suited to who I am.

I wanted to create a summary of all the things I offer even if you don’t see me posting about each thing all the time. (On a personal quest to reduce screen time and it has felt SO good.)

If you have any questions about me, what I do or how we can work together please reach out! I’d love to share more AND get to know you too!

If I could share one life hack…It’s to SHOW UP.

Show up for yourself.
Show up for growth.
Show up to your commitments.
Show up for the people you love.
Show up for your values.
Show up to VOTE.
Show up for joy and play.
Show up for your ideas and gifts.
Show up for challenge and work.
Show up for aligned invitations.
Show up to listen and be heard.
Show up to witness and be seen.

And if you can show up with…

An open mind and heart…
With authenticity, energy and style…
With intentionally, enthusiasm and optimism…
With love, integrity, gratitude and passion…
Even when it’s hard, scary as hell and you don’t know what the f*ck you doing…
But trust in your bones that you will figure it out…

You will be SO ahead of the game because these days it’s easy to hide, to stand people up and fall into the trap of the status quo. To shrink, make excuses, complain and compare instead of throwing your hat in the ring. (No judgement, I’ve been there too, it’s a life-long practice.)

It’s way more exhilarating, joyful, expansive to show up for life and all that wants to unfold for you but you have to be present to receive it. Will you?💋

35 things I learned before 35 #2 The biggest challenges in my life are often the most powerful teachers.

It’s been 20(!) years since my 14 vertebrae spinal fusion. 🤯 What is time?!

I think back to my 15 year old self who knew her life would never be the same as she climbed into the car to head to the hospital. She curled and arched her back over and over again as the nurses prepared her for surgery knowing it would be the last time she’s move her spine this way. I remember how terrified she was that her life would be limited, that she wouldn’t be able to do the things she loved anymore and yet she bravely accepted it.

I wish I could tell her then what I know now - That while this journey with scoliosis and rediscovering her life and body with a major fusion will be one of her most difficult, it will be one of the most expansive teachers.

I wish I could tell her not to believe those limitations so strongly because it was the *belief* that limited her more than the fusion itself. And at the same time, I have the wisdom to know that the continual unraveling of that belief was, and still is, one of the most powerful parts of my journey.

20 years later I’m still learning. For those of you who have heard my stories over the years and my struggle with chronic pain - It’s wild to share that I no longer identify with being someone who has chronic pain. For a long time (like 18.5 years) I never thought that would be possible for me. And it started with a simple decision to no longer choose that identity for myself (thank you for this life changing teaching 🙏🏻❤️). Over the past year and a half I’ve experienced WEEKS without pain, a fact that could make me cry with relief.

Choosing to peruse aerial arts is the newest layer of testing the boundaries of what my body can do. As a super bendy kid who loved gymnastics it’s been healing to reconnect with something my younger self would have loved and grieved - thinking she’d lost the ability. It’s been amazing to lovingly prove her wrong, like snowboarding and yoga was before that.

May the unraveling and the growth continue… 🪶🌱✨

Finding balance is not about arriving at a static destination of perfect proportions, finding balance is a fluid dance that is constantly shifting & adjusting when the scale tips a little too far.

Finding balance is about sensitive attunement to even the slightest shifts so that while I may lean a bit further in any one direction, I may wobble & feel less steady, I don’t actually lose my balance because I’ve countered it.

I do however lose my balance when I throw most of my weight in one direction, I forget to adjust, to counter.

Falling is the teacher to show me my boundaries, to fine tune my awareness to the points of difficult return.

The beauty is that I always get to try again.

🪶

I’ve practiced yoga for 11 years. It’s been one of the greatest teachers for how to navigate life off the mat. This morning I reflected on recent conversations with clients around finding balance in their lives.

For most, there is a great deal of deconditioning & perfectionism that needs to be released in order to find the kind of balance they seek. It’s also as much of an internal as it is an external practice, it’s deeply personal & individualized.

I would venture to say that from the outside my life might not look all that balanced.

As you may know - I do a lot of different things both professionally & personally. Some weeks my schedule looks wild - coaching sessions, home staging, private yoga students, meetings with style coaching or design clients, & peppered in are get-togethers with friends. Outside of that I’m working on personal projects - I’ve fallen down the sewing rabbit hole - customizing a jumpsuit & have made two jackets in the past 2 wks.

I’ve learned that each requires different kinds & amounts of energy. Some leave me spent by the end, others energize me. With each appt I add to my calendar I tune into what the whole week looks like. I feel into the breathing room. I mentally walk through my week & notice my energy & if there isn’t enough I choose to push it or rearrange. It’s not a perfect formula but something I’ve had to feel my way through, much like learning a new balancing posture.

I’d love to hear your thoughts

The #1 limiting belief that holds my clients back from going after the things they boils down to sounds something like…

“Who do I think I am to believe I can do this?” - What they are really asking is, “Am I good enough/ qualified enough/worthy of the life I want?”

Innocently, they’re asking the wrong question. What if instead they (WE) asked…Who am I to NOT do this?

What if, instead of searching for all the evidence that we don’t have what it takes, we dug deep into all the evidence from our lives that proves that we are in fact far more experienced than we’ve given ourselves credit for. All the evidence that proves we have the ability to learn and grow AND all the times we proved to ourselves that we have faced something new and challenging and FIGURED IT OUT!

🪶How many more risks would you take?

🪶How much more confident and energized would you feel?

🪶How many ideas would be brought to life instead of rattling around in your head?

Naturally we make the things we desire about ourselves and forget to zoom out. What I’ve seen over and over again through my clients' journeys and through my own, there is always a ripple effect that impacts so much more than ourselves when we choose to follow the things we’ve called to.

When you choose to believe you are worthy and capable of the things you dream of doing you change the world around you, in both seen and unseen ways.

So my invitation to you to …The next time you start down the thought spiral of all the reasons you can’t, should, or aren’t *whatever* enough to do the things you want - flip this question and treat it like an experiment to see what happens. See what evidence can discover hidden in plain sight in your own journey. 💫

If anywhere along the way you get caught up and need help, that's literally my job. 😘 Reach out, I’ve love to support you.

“Since I started working with you people tell me all the time - You just really seem to have your s**t together.” My client laughs, a huge smile on her face as she shares.

As a coach, hearing that my clients are getting recognized for the work they're doing on themselves makes me SO. DAMN. HAPPY. Because getting this external affirmation is powerful because in my clients words… “The confidence boost is crazy”.

All along my clients feel themselves changing but when other people start to notice it’s like rocket fuel.

The thing about coaching is that it’s an inside-out transformation. It’s often small, quiet and internal at first but in a few short months the people in their lives are like “How can I have what you’ve got?!”

Feedback my clients have gotten recently:

“You seem so much calmer, more grounded than I’ve ever seen you.”

“I’ve never seen you this happy and excited about life.”

“I feel like you’re really opening up for the first time.”

From her partner “You’ve been handling tough conversations so much differently, I feel like you’re really hearing me.”

“How did you become so confident?”

“How are you doing so much?”

The answer is that they’ve gotten support. That they’re learning how to get out of their own way. They‘re learning to shift their mindset and plug up energy leaks. They’re changing their habits, setting goals and have accountability to make sure they keep showing up for themselves and the life they want to live over and over again. And when they get off track or life throws a curveball they recalibrate and don’t give up.

When they invest in themselves and when they step into alignment with who they really are and bring their ideas to life, they are changing the world from the inside out. The ripple effect is real and it never ceases to amaze me.

My client spots were filled the better part of last year, but I’ve recently had a few spots open up as clients as starting to spread out their sessions.

So if you’re at a place where you’re ready to break patterns that aren’t serving you + build momentum in your life, send me a DM and we’ll explore if working together is a good fit, or hit the link in bio to schedule a free session😘

Every year I choose a word to be my anchoring intention for the year ahead. My word for 2024 is “Peace” - To feel greater peace in my body, mind and spirit regardless of the present circumstances. To find moments of calm when life feels chaotic, painful or challenging.

I couldn’t have known I’d be getting a crash course in practicing this intention just a few days into the year as one of my cats became seriously ill. For any of you who have fur babes you can probably relate to the sickening feeling you get when you know something is very wrong, when they aren’t themselves, when they won't eat.

Last week I took my sweet girl Vida to the emergency vet and discovered a mass causing a severe blockage in her intestines - news you hope to never receive. Sifting through the diagnosis, the treatment options, trying to ask every crucial question and agonizing over making the “right” decision for another’s life is something that I’ve always struggled with.

And yet, through the past week I’ve found myself in the midst of the waves of anxiety, restless nights, syringe feedings, making big decisions and ultimately undergoing surgery to remove the mass, I’ve experienced profoundly peaceful moments and a sense of calm and trust come over my body as I took each action and made each decision that felt right to me, and more importantly for her. Reminding me of one of the more powerful things I teach my coaching clients is that The Truth (your own personal truth), always feels like peace inside your body, even when it’s hard.

As painful as this has been to see her so sick, I’m grateful I had my word, this intention to come back to. Vida isn’t out of the woods yet but she’s doing miraculously well…better than any human would after having a section of intestines removed. My husband and I joked that he was more of a wreck from a recent head cold.

For the next few weeks I’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice returning to peace as I patiently wait for her to heal. (Swipe to see her snuggled up as I write this.) I’m so grateful for this precious time with her. ❤️

Do you have a word for 2024? I’m curious to know what you have chosen?
