Over the weekend, our department hosted the reconvening meeting of the Colorado and Wyoming Associations of Meat Processors. These important associations serve to connect small and mid-sized meat processors across Colorado and Wyoming with technical assistance and networking opportunitiess.

Though they’ve taken a hiatus for a few years, these organizations are happy to reconvene and our Department is grateful to assist their reorganization. Kudos to Dr. Jennifer Martin and Animal Sciences alumni, Dr. Cody Gifford (University of Wyoming), for their work in supporting these organizations.

If you are a meat processor interested in the associations, please email [email protected].
