All became clear when Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, honored assistant principal and AP microeconomics teacher Chris Reynolds with Colorado's sole 2024-25 Milken Educators Award and $25,000! LCHS robotics teams LASER and Vision competed in a second tournament last weekend. Both teams faced stiff competition from 26 other Colorado teams. After several hard fought battles, both teams competed in the final round of the competition. LASER won 2nd place Inspire Award, was captain of the finalist alliance, and earned a ticket to the state competition. Vision won the Design Award and was selected as finalist partner in alliance with LASER. Both teams will compete again this coming weekend at the state tournament. Congratulations to all robotics team members and good luck at the state competition.
