The CSU Journalism and Media Communication Department seeks experienced communicators for our annual capstone reviews! Are you a media pro with over three years in TV/Video, Public Relations, Reporting and Writing, Multimedia, or Marketing and Advertising?

If so, can you join faculty and other reviewers on campus during the week of April 28th to May 2nd? Each session involves reviewing 4-5 students' media portfolios and resumes in either a morning or afternoon time slot.

The CSU Journalism and Media Communication department is hosting a special event for alumni, friends, industry professionals, and students from noon to 3 p.m. on April 8 at CSU Spur, 4817 National Western Drive, in Denver.
Please join us to see old friends, create new connections and explore all that the innovative CSU Spur complex has to offer. Spur is described as laboratory, veterinary clinic, market, museum, art studio, classroom, garden, innovation center…all in one!

Depth of pandemic-related fraud 04/14/2022

CSU Alumnus David McSwane featured this morning on MSNBC for his book about pandemic-related fraud. Very interesting to hear how he got started on the topic and how his work continued through the pandemic.

Depth of pandemic-related fraud This month marks two years since the CDC started recommending masks, which triggered a frenzy to get medical-grade masks to people across the nation. ProPublica reporter, David McSwane, gives an in-depth look at how some took advantage of the desperate need for PPE.
