Learning about shading with a white on black still life! They learned about perspective and how where you look at something from can change your perspective, like with Donatello's sculptures!

I love how these turned out. They worked a lot on how to measure and to find angles to make this look like our still life!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Oh. They added their own flair to these! They added details in paint, ribbons, glitter, fabric capes, and adornments on their capes! Amazing creativity from these kids!
We also listened to Tschaikowsky (Nutcracker composer) and read the story of the Nutcracker with a lovely book that was gifted to me years ago ❤️🎄. Such a fun project for this time of year.
