The CSU Trombone Choir has been invited to perform at the 2026 American Trombone Workshop in Washington D.C. We are super excited about this amazing opportunity, but getting 26 of us across the country and being there for a few days is not cheap! We are already receiving a little funding from CSU to support the trip, but we still need to raise some additional funds to get to our total amount needed. If you are able to help, I hope you will consider supporting these fantastic students, even a little bit goes a long way!

It seems like the fall semester just started, but we are already looking forward to application/audition season for the Colorado State University Trombone Studio! We have a fantastic group of students who are hard-working, dedicated, supportive of each other and have fun making music. Fort Collins and CSU is an amazing place to live, study and grow. If you or anyone you know is interested in more information, please reach out to me, I would love to chat about our program, and I also offer a free private lesson to all prospective students! We are looking to fill both undergraduate and master's openings, and scholarships are available! We are especially looking for bass trombonists, so help spread the word!!!

The day before juries, the trombone studio had our annual end-of-year BBQ celebration! Featuring lots of wiffleball, plenty of burgers and hot dogs, a concerning amount of Oreos (So many Oreos…), and lots of laughs. Thank you to everyone in our studio for a fantastic year and to all who came to our performances. Have a great summer; we’ll see you all in August!
