You could be in these pictures in 2027! Our next tour is open and ready for enrollment. From May 25-June 3, 2027, we’ll be going to Barcelona, Spain, southern France, and Italy (Florence and Rome), and seeing sights like the (completed!) Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona, the Mediterranean coast, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Vatican! (And let’s not forget about the amazing food like authentic gelato!)

There will be informational meetings in the Spanish room on Thursday, January 9 and Thursday, January 23 at 7:00 PM. If you can’t attend but would like trip info, please email me at [email protected].

There is currently a $200 voucher with the code 2027EarlySavings that’s good until January 30, so now is a great time to sign up! The trip is open to Fort Calhoun students who will have completed 9th grade in 2026-27 (students who are currently in 7th grade or older) and Fort Calhoun grads who are 23 or younger at the time of travel (older grads also very welcome but don’t qualify for student pricing).

We had a great time at the Spanish Club dinner at El Vallarta! (especially me after telling the waiter that we would all be ordering in Spanish 😈) We’re missing a few who couldn’t make the rescheduled date, so we’ll try again in January.

I ordered 3 Spanish teacher Christmas shirts thinking I’d wear them to school the week before break and they got here yesterday. I’m wearing the food one to our Spanish Club dinner tonight at El Vallarta 🤤🌮🫔🌯🪅 Van leaves at 6:00; meet at the restaurant at 6:15.
