It makes us so happy to see our donated dolls bringing smiles and comfort to patients at SSM Health Monroe! 💙

A heartfelt thank-you to Kendra and Beth for sharing such kindness with their patients, and to Meghan Lawrence from Nasco Education for helping make this connection possible. We’re so grateful for all the health care heroes who bring compassion to their work every day.

When our hospitalized patients receive a doll or blanket, they’re getting more than a gift, they’re receiving a moment of joy! Thank you to Kendra Whalen, Cardiac Cath Lab RN, for donating dolls for our patients with dementia to help decrease agitation, and to Beth Martz, Inpatient RN, for handcrafting blankets for pediatric patients. Their acts of kindness will bring comfort to many.
