Fort Atkinson FFA FFA makes a difference in the lives of students by developing their premier leadership, personal growth and career success through Agriculture Education.

"Future Farmers of America" was founded by a group of young farmers back in 1928. Their mission was to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. They taught us that agriculture is more than planting and harvesting-- it's a science, it's a business and it's an art. FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members

to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of career pathways. So today, we are still the Future Farmers of America. But, we are the Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers and Future Entrepreneurs of America, too.

Our final day of retreat is about gratitude! We started the day finishing decorating sugar cookies, then delivered cookies and treats to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, Fort Atkinson Police Department, and Fort Atkinson Fire and EMS! We ended our day writing thank you notes to those that have helped us get where we are, and reflecting on the week!

Thank you to everyone who supports us throughout the year, we truly appreciate you!

Mrs. Lyon was honored today at the Jefferson County Fair as a 2026 Hall of Fame inductee. Although she doesn't ask for the recognition (or want the attention) she is very deserving of this prestigious award for all of her hard work and dedication to the Jefferson County Fair.

Not only does she take the lead in coordinating our FFA student projects and making sure students have everything they need throughout the fair, but she also has helped with the tractor pulls for many years. Not to mention the countless hours she has spent taking care of animals, visiting students projects, and all the other things no one even knows about.

Thank you Mrs. Lyon for your dedication to the Jefferson County Fair and the Fort FFA. We are so lucky to have you!

Also, a huge shout-out to one of our very dedicated FFA Alumni Members, Ronnie Klement for being inducted along side Mrs. Lyon! Thank you for your help around fair and for always being around to help us as well!
