As many of you have heard, Fort Atkinson Preschool and Childcare will be closing their doors for the last time on June 5th. The decision to close was a very difficult but necessary decision. There is only about a month remaining and I know this will be a very emotional month for many of us. However, I want to focus on the positive and all of the happy memories that have been created at the center over the years!
I want to announce that we will be hosting a final Farewell Backyard Bash on June 5th. The event will be held from 1-5 pm in the gym and families are welcome to stop in any time during that time to play games, share stories, and visit with other families. Anyone who has been connected to Fort Preschool over the years are welcome to attend from past families, staff, and community members to current families, staff, and community members. Games will be set up in the gym that you are welcome to play, a small snack will be offered, and even a storybook walk will be set up outside as long as weather permits! We do ask that you please supervise your children while playing games and moving about the different stations so all attendees can enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Let's make one final joyful memory at the center that has been a part of the Fort Atkinson community for 57 years!
