Lake Hadlock Association, Inc Lake Hadlock, also known as Hadlock Pond, is a small man-made body of water in Washington County, NY. Adopted 7/2/2023

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Lake Hadlock Association (LHA) is to protect and preserve the environmental quality of the lake. We strive to increase public awareness about invasive species and their impact on the lake ecology, as well as to offer environmental education to lake residents via written communications and annual meetings. The LHA works closely with town officials to advocate

for policies and regulations that will protect the lake and surrounding watershed for current residents and future generations.

LHA would like to give a VERY special thanks to Catherine Matier for all she does for the Lake! Yesterday was a grand day! (More pics to come) Cathy ALWAYS is a wonderful hostess, works her fin off (see what we did there he he he), and JUST does so much every day for Hadlock. THANK YOU Cathy!

Our Association is always thrilled and proud to support all our kid anglers on the Lake and in Fort Ann! We had well more than 30 fisherkids this morning and early afternoon for our Annual Lake Hadlock Association Kids Fishing Derby! All children received prizes, toys, books and fishing gear! We are excited for a Great day! 30 kids are registered for the fishing derby - weigh in and counting begins 12pm! The Dambreakers will start playing between 1 and 2pm! BRING A DISH TO SHARE! And we have a food truck and ice cream truck coming! See you around 1/2pm!

Annual Picnic and Kids Fishing Derby THIS SUNDAY, August 16🎊

The Fishing Derby will be held from 9 - 12 noon, register at 8am!

🎣Register at the Lake Hadlock Campground. Registration is $10 per child and all the funds are distributed back to the winners!

🎣At 12pm we start to measure and count fish! 3 age groups for 3 different categories-most fish, largest fish and smallest fish. The larger fish are cleaned and fried in a tasty cornmeal coating. Blue Gills are a really tasty and mild fish!

The winners will be presented with cash prizes and choose from a variety of other fun items.

🎸Dan Ladd and the Dambreakers will play their toe-tapping music around 2 pm.

🌭The LHA will grill franks, provide condiments, rolls and paper products. Please bring a dish to share.

🍔This year, a food truck, Steve & Kristies On The Road will attend to offer their delicious menu items.

🥤BYO beverages and chairs.

Join us! It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
