CTAE extends beyond the classroom with our Career Technical Student Organizations. CTI, SkillsUSA, HOSA, and FBLA all had information meetings so students could learn more, and FFA is ready to kick off their year as well.

CTSOs build leadership skills, allow students to compete, and provide numerous service opportunities. Please reach out to any of our advisors if you’re interested!

Our logistics fundamentals class has been busy with hands-on activities. Mrs. Garza is adding these to her curriculum to help the study of logistics be even more relevant to the students. The class did a Cargo Ship challenge to practice different aspects of containerization weights and configuration as well as an obstacle course with miniature remote-controlled forklifts.

This is our inaugural year of Junior Leadership Monroe in partnership with the Forsyth-Monroe Chamber of Commerce, and we are looking for student applicants in 10-12 grades! If selected, participants will learn more about leadership, civic consciousness, state and local government, economic development, and dedication to community.

There is no cost to selected students due to generous donations from our local businesses, agencies, organizations, and individuals. Students will attend six separate field-trips/sessions throughout this school year.

Applications have been posted in the Class of 2027, 2028, and 2029 Google Classrooms and are due Friday, August 28.

We are excited to be the first 2026-2027 School of the Week for 13WMAZ! They featured our healthcare pathways -- EMT, patient care, phlebotomy, and sports medicine.

Monroe County College and Career Academy expands its healthcare offerings, preparing students like Lila Dantin for careers in sports medicine and beyond.

Our newest CTSO (Career Technical Student Organization) is CTI (Career Technical Instruction). To start the year off strong, they are hosting a fundraiser. We'd love it if you would consider ordering a clear MP bag to support our students.

MCCCA has programs for students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Career-related instruction is beneficial for all ages! Our teachers and staff are ready for the 26-27 school year!

Congratulations to our first ACD (Accelerated Career Diploma) graduate, Aiden Spence! He has earned multiple certifications in welding from Central Georgia Technical College while completing his Mary Persons High School requirements!
