Tomorrow is our first FISD Future Ready Day! Students may wear jeans with a NFHS, college, or military shirts. Jeans must be solid in color with no rips, holes, tears, shreds, or cargo pockets.

Whether you’re a student dragging yourself out of bed, a teacher already hiding a second secret cup of coffee, or a parent who just successfully shoved three kids out the door with matching shoes—we see you, and we survived the alarm clock.

Let's break down how this week is going to go:

Students: Your Chromebook needs to be charged. Yes, really. No, borrowing a charger from your teacher doesn't count as a backup plan.

Teachers: May your classrooms be cool, your copy machines actually work on the first try, and your patience outlast the sugar crashes.

Parents: You made it through the morning drop-off without driving into a ditch. Pop the champagne (or more coffee). You deserve a gold medal.

Just a friendly reminder when checking the gradebook section in Skyward: Your kid is either crushing it or will lean heavily on the classic "the teacher just hasn't put the grade in yet" excuse. (To be clear: we love our teachers, they are the best! The kids, however, are professional negotiators. We love them too though. 🐾
