This week, our students had the opportunity to spread holiday cheer by performing at our elementary campuses and here at Brown. Their talent, professionalism, and enthusiasm truly showcased the pride and excellence of our band program.

We are excited for our upcoming school dance and want to share some important information regarding tickets and concessions.
🌟 $10 Dance Bundle (Pre-Purchase Only!)
If your student pays $10 before Christmas Break, they will receive:
Entry into the dance
One meal of their choice + a drink
🍬 Additional Concessions
We will also have extra snacks and candy available for purchase at the dance. Students are welcome to bring extra cash if they would like to buy additional items.
Please remember:
👉 The $10 bundle deal is only available if paid before Christmas Break.
👉 After the break, students will need to purchase entry and concessions separately.

Hey Brown Bear Families!

Quick reminder as we head into some testing before Thanksgiving break. Dates are below - we need your help making sure your student is set up for success!

Here's what we need:

✅ Chromebook needs to come to school EVERY day
✅ Charger packed in their backpack (fully charged devices are a must!)

A dead Chromebook = testing delays, and we want your student using their time to show what they know, not waiting for a charge!

If your child's Chromebook is in the Tech Spot, they will be able to have a loaner just for testing during their class time.

📣 Superhero Day Reminder – Dress Code Guidelines for Tomorrow
Good day Brown Bear Families,

We hope this message finds you well! As a reminder, tomorrow students may wear a superhero t-shirt with their regular uniform bottoms. Please note that superhero costumes are not allowed.

If a student arrives in a costume or in bottoms that are not appropriate for school, we will contact you to bring a change of clothes. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a positive and professional learning environment.

Join us for the BMS Theatre Fall Showcase on 10/24! This exciting event will be held in the BMS Cafeteria and starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Our students have been working hard and will present a variety of fun theatrical works, ranging from energetic Musical Lip Syncs and spontaneous Improv to heartfelt Duet Acting scenes. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our fine arts students, and best of all, admission is free for this performance! We look forward to seeing you there.

Important Reminders as We Begin the New Quarter

Dear Brown Middle School Families,

We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Fall Break! As we return and head into these next four weeks before Thanksgiving Break, we want to make sure our students finish this quarter strong in every way — academically, behaviorally, and socially.

We need your continued support in reinforcing the following expectations at home:

Dress Code: Students must come to school in proper dress code each day. Hoodies are not permitted to be worn inside the building.
Attendance & Punctuality: Every minute of learning matters. We need all students at school on time every day, ready to learn.
Chromebooks: Students must bring their charged Chromebook daily to fully participate in classroom activities.
Behavior Expectations: We will be operating under a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive or non-compliant behavior. We are committed to maintaining a safe and focused learning environment for all students.
Academic Accountability: Please remind your child to complete and turn in all assignments on time. Finishing work promptly helps them stay on track and be successful.
Communication: We encourage families to stay connected with teachers regarding grades, assignments, and student progress. Open communication helps us work together to support our students.

We appreciate your partnership and support in helping our Bears finish the quarter strong. Together, we can ensure every student continues to grow and achieve success.

Fall BMS Choir Concert
Our children performed exceptionally well last night, singing their beautiful songs with pride. They embodied the angels they are, and we are incredibly proud of their work. We are also grateful to Mr. Mosby for the excellent guidance you provide to our students as their music maestro, and to Mrs. Garrett for the unwavering support you offer to our scholars.
