Tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd, is our FIRST Future Ready Day at Dewberry Elementary!

We can’t wait to see our Bobcats representing colleges and universities from near and far! Students are invited to wear their favorite college shirt with jeans as we celebrate dreaming BIG and getting FUTURE READY!

DEWBERRY IS ON A ROLL!

There is something special happening at Dewberry Elementary this year! Everywhere you turn, our Bobcats are learning, growing, exploring, and experiencing greatness!

Whether it’s through our Engage Opportunities, including Football, Dance & Cheer, Farm to Table, and FLEX, or through the incredible instruction happening in our classrooms each day, our students are being given opportunities to discover their strengths, challenge themselves, and grow in new ways.

And the best part? We’re just getting started!

We’re almost ONE WEEK into the school year, and Dewberry Elementary is already ROCKING & ROLLING!

From strong instruction 📚 to meaningful student engagement and our exciting Engage Opportunities, our Bobcats are learning, growing, and experiencing school in new ways every day!

Our students are excited, our teachers and staff are energized, and we are so proud of the GREAT things already happening at The Dew!

What an AMAZING way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year! 🐾

From welcoming our Bobcats back for their first few days of learning, laughter, and new beginnings, to welcoming our families and community onto campus for today’s Dewberry Block Party, it has already been a week to remember!

Today was about more than just having fun. It was about community, connection, resources, relationships, and showing our families that we are truly ONE DEWBERRY!

Thank you to our students, staff, families, community partners, and everyone who helped make these first few days so special. And Bobcat Nation, we’re just getting started!

BOBCAT FAMILIES, TOMORROW IS THE DAY!

The first day of school is almost here, and we cannot wait to welcome our Bobcats back to Dewberry Elementary tomorrow, August 12! 🎒

As you prepare for tomorrow morning, please take a few minutes tonight to review these important Back-to-School reminders, including:

✅ What students can wear
✅ First-day arrival procedures
✅ How students will get to class
✅ Parent/guardian expectations during arrival
✅ Walker and car rider procedures
✅ Arrival and dismissal routes

Our goal is to make tomorrow’s arrival and dismissal as safe, smooth, and efficient as possible for every student and family. Please plan ahead, allow yourself a little extra time, follow staff directions, and most importantly, send those Bobcats through our doors ready for an AMAZING first day!

Get the backpacks ready, lay out those first-day outfits, set those alarms, and get some rest. Tomorrow, we RISE!

We can’t wait to see our Bobcats!
