Back to School Bash - a free community event where everyone is welcome‼️

Families are invited to:
✅ Receive free school supplies (one backpack per school-age child in attendance – limited quantities!)
✅ Enjoy a delicious lunch, supported by Harvester Christian Church and our local fire departments!
✅ Connect with local community resources
✅ Register for an annual Club membership on-site

As we say goodbye to another amazing school year at Wright City East Elementary, we want to wish all of our students and families a safe, fun, and relaxing summer!

We are so proud of all the hard work, growth, and memories made during the 2025-2026 school year. From learning new things to making friendships and celebrating milestones, it has been a wonderful year filled with smiles and success.

Thank you to our teachers, staff, families, and volunteers for all of your support throughout the year. Most importantly, thank you to our students for making Wright City East such a special place each and every day.

What an amazing Field Day!

We could not have asked for more perfect weather for a day full of fun, laughter and memories. Students enjoyed so many exciting activities, including visits from the fire department and the bubble bus along with all the games and stations throughout the day.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make the day such a big success. We truly appreciate your time, energy, and support for our students and staff. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

How special that a few members of the Class of 2026 found their kindergarten photos here at East Elementary!

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. We are proud to be the place where so many of our seniors began their educational journey and excited to celebrate how far they have come.

Our Wright City Early Childhood friends had the opportunity to tour the school, meet the kindergarten teachers, and get a glimpse of all the fun and learning that awaits them next year. We loved seeing their excitement and smiles as they explored their future classrooms!

We can’t wait to welcome these little Wildcats to kindergarten in the fall!

👏🏼Rebecca Schriener - Teacher of the Year👏🏼

Rebecca Schriener has been named the Wright City R-II School District Teacher of the Year in recognition of her unwavering commitment to student success and her daily embodiment of what it means to be a champion.

Mrs. Schriener, an alum of the district, has served our schools for five years and currently works as a special education teacher at Wright City East Elementary.

Through her dedication, passion, and student-centered approach, she consistently goes above and beyond to support, inspire, and uplift the students and staff at East Elementary.
