Parents, Alumni, Community Leaders and Concerned Forestville Supporters!!!

As PGCPS continues the Forestville High School transition, it is my job to be a resource of information for our community. With this said, I encourage and invite all interested students, families, and community members to attend the upcoming Forestville High School Community Meeting.

The meeting will be held tonight Monday, May 9th, at 6:30pm in the Forestville High School cafeteria. There will be Board of Education members, as well as Central Office and school-level administrators present to answer any questions, comments, and/or concerns you may have.

JROTC Facts:

Each branch of the US Armed Forces maintains a Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, organized into units. As of June 2006, there are a total of 3,275 units:

• 1600 Army AJROTC units[12]

• 794 Air Force AFJROTC units[13]

• 619 Navy NJROTC units[14]

• 260 Marine Corps MCJROTC units[15]

• 2 Coast Guard CGJROTC unit[16]
