The Asian Hope Village Christian School in Kork Roka is tucked quietly between a local Buddhist temple and a lotus covered pond. This school provides vibrant educational opportunities and foundational support to local children and families. Currently serving 415 students from 326 families, with the majority of parents working as farmers and factory workers, the campus is dedicated to empowering the next generation through accessible, quality Christian education.

By partnering closely with families and the local community, the Kork Roka campus equips its students with the skills and confidence they need to build bright futures and help their community thrive.

Asian Hope’s Village Christian School in Takeo is our first school located outside of Phnom Penh.

Surrounded by stilt homes and lush rice fields, this campus is a place of incredible light and joy. Each day, hundreds of students ride their bikes down the dirt road to learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ in a supportive environment.

Serving over 340 students across 230 families, this location brings hope and stability to the area. Most of these students come from local farming families, adding to the vibrant, rural heart of the school.

Through quality education and the love of the Gospel, we are so grateful to be able to help these families grow and thrive!

Get to Know Our Village Christian Schools: Part 3 | Prey Teah

Our Village Christian School in Prey Teah is part of a very transient community. With 60% of our families here working in nearby factories, many are frequently forced to relocate. This high mobility is exactly what makes our mission here so vital.

We focus on helping students the moment they arrive, providing them with as much support and consistency as possible for as long as they are in our care. As our smallest village school, Prey Teah proudly serves over 170 students from 144 families.

This school is a true light in the community, serving these hardworking families by providing quality education, vital life skills, and the hope of the Gospel.

Get to Know Our Village Christian Schools: Part 2 | Prek Pnov

The Village Christian School in Prek Pnov is Asian Hope’s second longest-running Village Christian School. This community, located along the Tonle Sap river, was chosen because of its deep and complex needs.

To make a living, these families work incredibly hard, often requiring students to drop out of school to sell at the market or join fishing boats to support their households. Our staff spends hours in the community listening to parents, building trust, and advocating for the value of keeping their children in school for a better future.

Many families in this community refer to this school simply as the “Jesus school.” Walking the streets, you understand why, as you hear students singing praise songs to God. This school is a light and a place of hope, providing education that empowers students to lift their families out of hardship.
