Please help us welcome our new assistant principal, Ms. Camille Tilton!❤️🤍💙

Here are a few words Ms. Tilton wanted to share:

“My name is Camille Tilton, and I have 17 years of experience in education as both a teacher and administrator. I have dedicated my career to helping children grow, succeed, and discover the joy of learning. I have a deep passion for teaching and believe that every child deserves opportunities to feel confident, curious, and excited about their education.

As an avid reader and lifelong learner, I strive to model a love of learning while inspiring students and educators to continue growing. My greatest passion is creating an environment where children develop not only the skills they need to succeed, but also a genuine love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.

This year, I look forward to sharing my love of learning with the students, faculty, and staff of Forest High School. I am especially excited to get to know our students and their families, learn more about their hopes and goals, and work together to find meaningful ways to help every student succeed. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and celebrating the accomplishments of our Forest High School community!”

🚨📣We would like to introduce our new principal- Mr. Brad Nix!📣🚨

Mr. Nix has been in education for 29 years. He’s held a lot of different titles during that time including: teacher, coach, book keeper, assistant principal, and now principal! He is our varsity boys’ basketball coach and will be coaching track & field in the spring.

Even though he’s not a new face at Forest High School, he is in a new position and we want to welcome him! We are excited to see where he leads us here at Forest High School. We believe big things are ahead! Go Bulldogs!🐾

We are so excited to welcome students back to FHS tomorrow!!

SOFT START SCHEDULE:

Tomorrow is our first Soft Start day! Please remember that only the following students attend tomorrow:
⭐ Pre-K Girls
⭐ Kindergarten Boys
⭐ 4th-5th, both boys and girls
⭐6th-12th Boys

Friday:
⭐Pre-K Boys
⭐Kindergarten Girls
⭐1st-3rd, both boys and girls
⭐6th-12th Girls

⭐MONDAY ALL STUDENTS RETURN TO SCHOOL!⭐

🚗 MORNING DROP-OFF

• You MUST enter the drop-off line from Center St. No exceptions. Students must not be dropped off in front of the school or on the South side of the school.
• Students will not be allowed out of vehicles until 7:25 AM.
• Parents/guardians may not park in the parking lot or on side streets and walk students into the building. No exceptions.

💧 WATER BOTTLES

Only CLEAR water bottles with clear water are permitted.
Non-clear water bottles will be sent to the office for parent pick-up. Students without an approved water bottle will be provided a cup to use at the water fountain.

🧸 LEAVE AT HOME

Please keep toys, Squishies, NeeDohs, and other similar items at home. They are not permitted in classrooms.

🚙 AFTERNOON PICK-UP

• You MUST enter the pick-up line from Center Street.

We know the first few days require a little extra patience as everyone learns the routine. Thank you for helping us follow these procedures so we can keep all of our students safe and keep arrival and dismissal running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
