Stoked for these match ups! We have Yan heading the cage for a TITLE fight! He’s recently pulled a string of wins and we’re excited to seem him back to work for the strap!

Amadeus is also taking the stage for an MMA fight. Lots of hard work being put in from him and we can’t wait for it to all be showcased this weekend!

Got ourselves a W in Ottumwa, IA for Tru Rev MMA!

James made his MMA debut for Tru Rev MMA against a very game opponent. The fight took place on the feet for the entire 9 minutes of action.

Both fighters had some moments on the feet and both men showed incredible grit and determination throughout the fight.

The fight ended in a split decision with James getting his hand raised in a very back and forth fight. James truly showed a lot of improvements and did very well adapting to the fight in real time.

Thank you to all of James’s training partners and teammates for helping him prepare for this fight. Thank you to all of the students and supporters for being in James corner throughout fight week keeping his spirits up going into fight night!

MMA DEBUT 🚨

James makes his way to the MMA cage for his debut fight! Lots of work and lots of prep all coming to fruition tomorrow night.

This past Saturday night we had James making his Muay Thai debut for TFC at Cicero stadium.

James went up 2 weight classes as his original opponent pulled out. Even with the size disadvantage James was able to go in and fight a very hard 3 rounds and performed very well.

Although he lost a decision we are very proud of him and his performance. James also took this fight to help prepare himself for his MMA debut May 2nd.

Thank you to Sherwin for being in James corner and helping him prepare for this fight as well. Thank you to all of the fighters and students at Intercept for their contribution to James camp and preparation.

Last Friday night the Shank touched down in Minnesota for LFA 231. Oscar took this fight on 3 weeks notice and was more than ready to take advantage of the opportunity.

Oscar took the center of the cage right away and got to work. Didn’t take him long to find the fight ending shot as he was able to secure a 1st round KO in just 15 seconds.

Big thank you to all of Oscar’s training partners for always helping to give specific looks in training and pushing him to be his best come fight night.

Thank you to all of the students and supporters that were in Oscar’s corner all week long. We truly can’t wait to see what is next for Oscar!

Intercept MMA goes 2-0 in South Bend, IN for MFL!

Amadeus made his MMA debut and was more than ready for the moment. Amadues took the center of the cage early and was met with multiple takedown attempts. Once Amadeus was able to weather the storm he then imposed his will and got his own takedown. Once on top he was able to advance position and find the TKO finish in round 1. We look forward to seeing Amadeus back in there again soon!

Jorge took on a very dangerous and high level fighter in the 135 division. Jorge implemented the game plan to a T and was able to secure and early takedown. From there he defended submission attempts before ultimately securing the back and sinking in the rear naked choke for a 1st round submission finish.

We are very thankful for all of the training partners and students for all of their help preparing these fighters for battle. Thanks as well to Kat and the work she puts into the fighters to help them with their weight cuts and rehydration process.

Thank you to everyone at MFL for the opportunity and for hosting such a well run event. Thank you to all of the family and friend that came out and showed support as well!

Jorge and Amadeus kick off spring and head to South Bend to fight in the MFL cage!

We can’t wait to see Jorge back in the cage and showcase everything he’s been working in the gym! Stoked to be in Amadeus’ corner and watch him go to work!
