What an opportunity in Virginia for CFFC!

This past Friday night our very own Tyler Veal entered the cage fighting for the undisputed welterweight title for CFFC.

Tyler put in months of preparation and made many sacrifices to make sure he was well prepared. Tyler trains at multiple gyms with a lot of high level training partners and is always looking for ways to improve.

This fight he showed a very well rounded game and truly went in there to prove he was deserving of that belt.

Going into the 5th round we knew it was close and more than likely 2-2. Although the judges didn’t see the fight for Tyler we knew he went out there and showed the world how high level of a competitor he is.

In victory and in defeat Tyler continuously shows the true meaning of a professional and we are truly blessed to have him represent our gym and the entire Midwest.

Thank you to Kyron for making the trip out to help prepare and corner Tyler for this fight. Thank you to all of the amazing training partners at multiple gyms for the constant high level work. Thank you to family, friends, and students for the support for Tyler all through fight week.

NEW COACH ALERT 🚨

We’re so excited to announce Kyron Bowen as part of our coaching staff! Kyron brings a wealth of experience and knowledge ranging from earning his BJJ black belt from Brian Foster, to fighting under the PFL banner. Intercept is blessed to be bringing him on board! Make sure to give him a warm welcome next time you’re at the gym!

This past Saturday night we had our fighter Henri Jones make the walk once again for TFC.

Henri put in a lot of work over the past year to work on areas he knew needed improvement. Not just the technique, but the mental aspect of fighting, the strength and conditioning, as well as the diet.

Henri was able to secure a 1st round TKO finish after landed a beautifully timed head kick. Henri still hasn’t had the chance to show all of his weapons but we hope to see him back in there soon to do just that.

Big thank you to Kat who has been a pillar in the fighters camps to help with their nutrition and weight cuts. Big thanks to all of the training partners that put in hours of work to prepare Henri for this match up.

Big thank you to all of the friends and family that come out to support these fighters as well all throughout the camp and into fight night.

Shout out to Joe Goytia and everyone at TFC for the opportunity and platform for these fighters to compete on.

Fight Night approaches this Saturday for Henri

We can’t wait to watch Henri storm the cage again in an MMA bout for Total Fight Challenge! Lots of hard work went into this camp for Henri and he’s excited to showcase it all!

What a night we had in Lacrosse, Wisconsin for Oscars 3rd fight for LFA.

Oscar took on a very tough and experienced martial artist for a strikers delight match up. Once the fight started Oscar’s opponent took the center and was able to land a heavy right hand, Oscar was able to recover quickly and get back to work on the feet.

Both Oscar and his opprime threw heavy shots and exchanged in the clinch as well. Going into the 2nd round Oscar knew he needed to change course and take his opponent into deep waters. He did just that securing a takedown and finding a finish early in round 2.

Huge thank you to Tyler and all of the amazing training partners at Intercept MMA for the work put in this camp. It takes a solid team of people to come together to make wins like this happen so thank you to training partners, students, and friends and family for the support and help all camp.

Thank you as well to Jeremy and everyone at LFA for the amazing opportunities and platform for these fighters to compete on. We look forward to what is next for Oscar!
