Dive right into a good book and a cool pool!
The Park District of Forest Park and the Forest Park Public Library have partnered on a new service this summer.
FPPL cardholders 18+ can check out a pool pass from the Library!
π΅ Every Tuesday, six pool passes will be available for check out. (2 are reserved for seniors 60+).
π΅ To check out, you must be 18+ with a valid Forest Park Public Library card.
π΅ Two pool passes can be checked out at once (if available).
π΅ Check outs can only be done in-person at the Library. First come, first served. Holds cannot be placed on passes.
π΅ Once a pass is checked out, you must create a Amilia account and sign a waiver to enter the pool.

Forest Park School District #91 is seeking applications for a vacant position on the Board of Education. An individual will be appointed to fill the vacant position until the April 2027 elections are held.
Interested persons should submit a letter expressing interest and/or a resume via email to Takiisha Raglin at [email protected] no later than Friday, June 19, 2026.
Following a review of the submitted materials, the Board will schedule interviews with selected candidates. Not all candidates for the Board vacancy will be interviewed. If you have any questions concerning the role of the Board of Education and the responsibilities of a Board member, please contact Steven Rummel, President of the Board of Education at [email protected].

The 17th Annual Juneteenth Family Pool Party returns on Saturday, June 13, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Forest Park Aquatic Center.
Since 2009, this event has brought families, friends, and neighbors together to celebrate Juneteenth through community, connection, and fun. Join us for an evening of swimming, fellowship, and celebration as we honor the significance of Juneteenth and the shared history that continues to shape our community.
